Pull “Booking Confirmed: Next Steps” emails from Gmail and inspect the trip-details link.

How email sync works

  • Which account. We sign in to the Gmail account set on the Settings page using an app-specific password, read-only over IMAP. We never send, move, label, or delete any email.
  • Which emails. Only inbox messages whose subject is “Booking Confirmed: Next Steps” — Outdoorsy’s host booking-confirmation email. We read the newest few (the count you choose below, up to 50).
  • What we read. From each email we extract the Outdoorsy booking ID, the trip total / payout, the trip-details link, and hints (renter, vehicle, dates).
  • What we do with it. We save each booking ID → price and attach that price to the matching booking. If the calendar doesn’t already have that trip (e.g. it has fallen off the iCal feed), we add it to the calendar automatically using the dates and RV parsed from the email. An existing price is never overwritten with a blank. Cancellation emails (“has cancelled their booking”) void the trip — they free its calendar dates and drop it from revenue, and are never re-added.
  • Runs automatically. A daily job (around 6:00 AM UTC) fetches the newest 10 emails and re-syncs every calendar for you — so prices and cancellations stay up to date without anyone clicking. The buttons below just let you run it on demand.

Typical flow: Sync all calendars pulls the latest bookings from your Outdoorsy iCal feeds, then Fetch emails reads the confirmation emails and attaches the trip prices. This same flow also runs on its own once a day.

Gmail credentials are not configured. Add them on the Settings page first.
